Location

This new EC site is located in Tampines Town with many convenient facilities and amenities. These include the Tampines Regional Centre, Neighbourhood Centres, schools, cinemas, supermarkets, a library, swimming complex, as well as sports and transportation facilities.

It is well served by the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and the Tampines Expressway(TPE). The Tampines MRT Station and the Tampines Bus Interchange are also easily accessible at the Town Centre.

Tampines Town is well planned with comprehensive transportation infrastructure for direct access to the rest of the island. It is accessible to Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE) connecting to the north-east and south-west respectively. Within the town, there is a network of major roads providing connectivity to all the local neighbourhood streets.

New Downtown Line stations
The Downtown Line 3 (DTL3) connecting Singapore Expo through Tampines to the City is scheduled to be completed in 2017. Tampines Town will be well connected with 3 DTL stations and a East-West line station.

Bartley-Tampines Viaduct
Besides the PIE and the TPE, the latest extension of Bartley Road to Tampines Avenue 10 provides a vital link to the central region via Bartley Road and Braddell Road. Residents can now reduce their travel time between Paya Lebar and Tampines by as much as 15 minutes using the link.

More park connectors, widened footpaths and cycling paths

Residents can look forward to additional cycling paths, extended park connectors and shared footpaths with pedestrians.
